Interesting post and all the comments above. I personelly think that much of what Paul wrote was his own personel opinion. But using their (WTBS) "logic" against them is a good idea> I actually did this. During my divorce with my JW wife I mentioned that she had commited adultry against me. Her mouth fell open. I used your reasoning as my argument. Of course she thought it was nonscience. But I think not. I think all loyal JW's are adulters to God. THey worship and adulterize themselves to their organization. Dave

Name your cat after a favorite or interesting character from a movie or TV show you like. Professional writers come up with the best names.

What did Bleep Say?
by ISP inbleep said something critical of bill bowen....the post was deleted.
did it use profanity/unaccepted curse words?
deleting stuff is ok......but the board can deal with it, especially posters like 'bleep'.

What Bleep wrote was descriptive pornography meant to shock and insult.

I'm back ... now READ THIS
by Simon inwe've just got back from out holidays after travelling with 2 young kids for 24+ hours and logged on to see the same old people complaining about the same old things with the same worn out arguments.. the topics seem to be along the lines of:posters should be allowed to say anything they want.we want absolute free speech and seem to be under the mistaken illusion that the usa has it.there is mass moderation happening on this forum and censorship is rife.
... and so on.. all of these claims are utter crap as far as i am concerned.. now, i am not going to put up with people trying to stir things up and interfere with the majority of posters who want to use this forum properly and see me and moderation as the main topic of conversation.. keep harping on and you will be deleted.

Thanks for posting this. It is good to be reminded of the dishonesty of thw Watchtower in the verses in Rev. 5 10, 13. That was one of the errors I caught on my own that made an impression on me and helped in my deprograming out of the cult.

The Truth about Who is going to heaven, etc..
by Legendary U.2.K. inwell after 2 years of my bible study's with the father's help & the messiah help, i had to post this, to get thousands str once again: - it's a knowed fact that billions are infact dead in their graves, cause like christ already mention in john chapter 5 verses 28, & 28 & 25 that the resurrection will only happen on the last day... so if anybody in this life period teach that after you die you go to heaven is a liar(cough christianity), cause the resurrection has not happen yet...... and the only people who are going to heaven after armageddon is the 144,000(book of revelation said's 'they were', in revelation chapter 1, god said 'things that must shortly come to pass)...... continue>

I'm going to heaven as to you Bleep and U2K you are fulfilling not Matthew 24:14 but Matthew 23:13 "Woe to you teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of Heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to." The evil WTBTS has shut the door in 1935 (?) in men's faces. If you don't repent you will face judgement for your sin.

From what I remember they have two plans One where you pay a higher amount like $10 but you don't have to go every week and another called "loyalty plan" that you have to go to every week and pay only $7 but you have to pay for the weeks you miss. The point system is simply (and they claim more complicated than this) every 50 calories is one point. Women usually work on 24 points and men at 36 or 34 points. It's a gimmic as it really is counting calories. So for women 1200 calories and men 1700 - 1800 calories. The bad thing about this approach is that in wieght loss from this plan a person loses as much muscle as fat. Muscle burns calories so losing muscle is not a good thing. I would recomend doing exercise starting out with light wieght lifting and a little aerobics and eating healthier food such as lean meat, vegetables etc and keep the portions small. Do this at a gradual rate or a sudden change will shock your system and your emotions and you will do the worst thing and that is to give up. In time when your exercise becomes a habit increase the intensity and the amount. It usually takes about 2 to 3 months to see amazing change. You can do it! Dave

I know a guy who knows some of the members of Prince's band. Once in a hotel lobby I tripped Monte Hall of "Let's Make a Deal" He had to take giant leaping steps to keep from falling on his face. He just smiled and walked on.

I think the fundelmentalists are just a blind to the false statements of their leaders as the JW's are. Doesn't Van Imp and wife always stress the end is near? Their retoric is worse than the JW's and they have been going on and on for years. Is Jan the lady with the lavender hair and the ornate gold plated furniture? There has to be something serious wrong with a person to take that person serious.
